Welcome to the 2023 Antique Tractor and Farm Equipment Show at the Middletown Grange Fair. The following information is provided to help you get the most out of your experience at the Fair.
- Come join us at the Tractor Tent, sponsored by the PA Lottery, for some rest and good conversation. The tent will be erected near the exhibit area and is to be shared by all exhibitors. It is not to be used for storing and exhibiting your equipment.
- Tractors are to be delivered between 12:00PM and 6:00PM on Sunday August 13th , 10:00 AM-3:00PM and 5:00PM - 9:00 PM on Monday August 14th.
- The hours of the fair are from 10 AM to 10 PM on Wednesday and Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. We do hope that you will be able to spend as much time as possible at the fair since our mutual objective is to educate and entertain those attending the fair.
- There will be a parade of antique tractors every day(weather permitting), Wednesday to Saturday at 6:30 PM and Sunday at 4:00 PM which at completion you can load up and head home. We would appreciate it if you were in the tractor area at least a half hour prior to each parade to prepare and to ensure the parade can start promptly. All equipment in good operating order (unless they are “steel wheeled” tractors) and able to navigate the route may participate in the parades. We will also be doing tractor games in our own arena at various times throughout the fair.
- Entries can only be displayed and/or operated at the discretion of the departmental management. Space will be given on a first-come, first serve basis.
- No riders are permitted on tractors UNLESS the antique tractor requires two people for its operation.
- ALL unlicensed farm tractor drivers MUST have passed the 4H tractor driving safety course.
- Pre-registration no later than August 8th is appreciated.
- Please note, only one entry per class per entrant will be judged.
- Be sure to complete a display tag for the front of your tractor. A completed tag will inform the public of the type of equipment, year of manufacture, manufacturer, current owner as well as general comments you would like to share.
- To insure that all the people that come to the fair have an opportunity to view all exhibits and to meet state requirements , the equipment must remain on display until the end of the fair at 5:00 PM on Sunday . (Unless you are participating in Sunday’s parade)
- The entry fee will be a straight $10 for all machines being judged or just displayed.
- When equipment is delivered to the fair, the owner will receive one five day parking pass for the first machine and one day parking passes for drivers for each additional machine that will participate in the parade(s).
Only one tractor per class, per entrant, may be judged. The classes for the equipment are as follows:
